The 2nd International Symposium on Engineering and Society in Energy Science (ISESES) was held at Kyoto University on 7th, Oct. 2016, with 23 participants from six different countries. Two invited speakers, Ms. Tao Yujin (NUS, Singapore) and Dr. Wanichaya Mekprasart (KMITL, Thailand) presented about their recent studies. Also, there were six posters and 16 oral presentations. Mr. Naohiro Kosaka, Mr. Tomoaki Kato and Ms. Reika Akamatsu, were awarded as the Best Presenters.

The organizer appreciates all who support this event. We do hope to have 3rd Symposium in 2017.
