The 1st International Symposium on Engineering and Society in Energy Science (ISESES) was held by our laboratory.  There were about 20 participants from the world including Japan, Korea and Egypt. The session was started by the opening address by Prof. K. N. Ishihara as the representative of organizing committee. After that there were six technical sessions including 17 oral presentations.  Finally, the best master’s and bachelar’s presentation awards were selected. The winners were Yoshiyuki sangi and Tomoaki Kato as master’s , Daiki Sakamoto and Yudai Tanaka as bachelor’s
